Internal GPS antenna and supplied with swivel bracket and internal GPS antenna
The CP180 has a 50 Channel GPS antenna external
Supplied with a swivel mount bracket allowing the CP180 to be rotated 360 degrees (left or right) for optimal viewing.
Direct Sunlight viewable color display
Nothing beats the detail and impact of a color display. Featuring cutting edge transflective screen technology, the result is a display that delivers un-compromised bright, vivid color chart detail in the toughest of applications--direct sunlight.
The CP180 truly allow you not to worry where the sun is shining!
WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System)
A 50-channel WAAS receiver is the heart of the CP180. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position without the additional expense of a Differential receiver. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of northern South America. Additionally, the CP180 is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent.
VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling
The CP180 GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to be connected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP180 and the VHF.
Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totally privately poll and display another vessels position on the display of the CP180. To take this one step further, the CP180 has a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call.
STANDARD HORIZON pioneered this function, leading the industry with innovative features and function.
Dedicated Navigation Keys
Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP180i has dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed.
FF525 optional black box fish finder capable
The optional FF525 Fish Finder option brings high-end fish finding capability to Standard Horizon's CP180 and CP180i WAAS GPS Chart plotters making them the ideal choice for casual or professional angler's alike.
The FF525 Dual Frequency (50 and 200kHz) Black Box Fish Finder's advanced filtering eliminates unwanted noise and sharpens return echos for enhanced seperation and detection.
Transducer ID™ allows the FF525 to query the transducer (sold separately) to determine its perfromance characteristics. Power output, frequency, beam pattern and other unique transducer characteristics are sent to the fish finder. this data allows the fish finder to fine tune itself to match the transducer which optimizes overall system performance. No matter what the conditions, you will be able to fine tune your fishing rather than the fish finder.
Note: Transducer ID™ is a registered trademark of AIRMAR Technology Corporation, Milford.

THE CP300 HAS THE CAPABILITY TO BE CONNECTED TO STANDARD HORIZON VHF FIXED MOUNTED RADIOS WITH DSC POLLING CAPABILITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED SIMPLY BY CONNECTING 3 WIRES BETWEEN THE CP300 AND THE VHF. CONNECTING THE PRODUCTS TOGETHER ALLOWS YOU TO SECURELY POLL THE POSITION AND DISPLAY THE OTHER VESSELS POISITION ON THE DISPLAY OF THE CP300.
WIDESCREEN COLOR DISPLAY
BOASTING A 7-INCH, HIGH RESOLUTION 800 x 480, 16.9 SIDE SCREEN DISPLAY.
OPTIONAL FF525 Black Box Fish Finder
The optional FF525 Fish Finder option brings high-end fish finding capability to Standard Horizon's CP300 and CP300i WAAS GPS Chart plotters making them the ideal choice for casual or professional angler's alike.

VX-820 ATEX Series
Compact size with robust capabilities
The smallest radio offered by Vertex Standard is unobtrusive and easy to wear all day and built with more enhanced features typically not found in other radios of this size. The VX-820 Series is Intrinsically Safe and certified to meet ATEX approval specifications for gas protection to use in explosive hazardous settings.
Features Specifications Accessories Resources ATEX Approved for Gas Protection
II 2 G E Ex ib IIC T4
Withstands Harsh Environments
Water, dust, temperature extremes, shock and vibration are no problem for these radios manufactured to rugged Military Standards specifications. The VX-820 Series also meets international waterproofing standard IP57 where water does not harm the radio when submersed to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.
Tailored Communications to Meet Your Demands
Get the ultimate signaling performance with a choice of multiple 2-tone encode and decode or 5-tone signaling to support the most advanced communications needs from individual to fleet operations. The front panel also includes a 7-colour LED with a variable flash pattern for custom incoming call alerts.
When Safety Counts – Never Be Alone
When help is needed, the VX-820 Series has Emergency notification that will switch to a designated channel and send an emergency alert. The radios also include Remote Listen which turns the radio on remotely if needed to check out what is happening near the radio.
Loud Audio for Noisy Environments
With 700 mW audio output, be assured of hearing critical information you need in most situations.
Exclusive Auto-Range Transpond System – ARTS™
Only Vertex Standard radios are designed to inform you when you and another ARTS™-equipped station are within communication range. If out of range for more than 2 minutes, your radio senses no signal has been received and beeps to alert you. The base station can then alert the field unit to move back in range. A great solution to keep your workers co-ordinated.
